Samsung has accelerated its work for the Galaxy S24 FE, which will be the affordable version of the flagship S24 series. Some key specifications for the device, which is expected to be released in the coming months, have emerged.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with Exynos chipset
According to information from China, the Galaxy S24 FE will feature 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage. Similar to the previous S23 FE, it will be powered by a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
The leak did not share details about the display. However, it is estimated that it will have an AMOLED panel similar to the S24 family. On the other hand, it was stated that the Galaxy S24 FE will only be offered with Exynos in the global market, unlike the S23 FE, which has Snapdragon and Exynos variants.
Other leaks claimed that Samsung will use Snapdragon chipsets in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Accordingly, Snapdragon will be abandoned by using Exynos processors in the Galaxy S series.
According to the leak, Samsung is expected to use MediaTek and Exynos chips in its budget and mid-range A, M and F series phones.
It is possible that more technical specifications of the Galaxy S24 FE, which will reportedly be released in October, will be revealed in the coming months. However, it is certain that it will differ from the S24 family in terms of performance.
